Meet Megan– a 10 year old girl with a big heart.

When Megan became aware of the difficult challenges faced by children in Uganda relating to poverty, she decided to take action. She compassionately went through her belongings and decided to donate her own trainers, boots and kit to the children in Uganda, as a method to help children who do not have the appropriate equipment to participate in sports.
Megan’s impact didn’t stop there.

Megan’s kindness extended far beyond donating her own belongings. She inspired her Brownie group to donate the money earned from the talent show they worked hard to put together. In their event pamphlet, they highlighted the importance of the work being done by Sembeza Africa.
In addition to the efforts of the Brownies, Megan’s football team donated even more items to help children in Uganda.
Megan’s actions are a powerful reminder on how one small kind act can inspire bigger change. There is no doubt that there are children in Uganda who are now able to have access to a larger amount of sports footwear and kit. She has truly made a big impact.
We would like to express a great amount of appreciation towards Megan, her Brownie group and football team. We cannot thank Megan, her Brownie group and football team enough for their valuable contributions to changing the lives of children in Uganda.
We feel honored and grateful that Megan chose Sembeza Africa. Thanks to her help, we are able to donate the equipment to a small, under-resourced school called Joba Divine Early Learners Centre in Uganda. This generous donation of much-needed equipment will give the children of this small school in Uganda hope for a brighter future.
